In Public Finance Department, technical knowledge and methods related to fiscal issues in public and private sector together with necessary economics and law knowledge are studied. Students are educated in these areas.The education period contains four years period. Lectures mainly contain public finance, taxation, accounting, economics, fiscal activity and fiscal policy. Students who educate from this department have university diploma. The title of graduates differs according to the institution in which they work and according to their position.Our graduates working in public sector can be in auditing and application positions.
Our graduates also work in The Ministry of Finance, The Central Bank, Public-Sector Enterprises, The State Planning Organization, Local Governments, The Government Accounting Bureau, The Foreign Trade Counsellorship, The Ministry of Justice, The Ministry of Internal Affairs, Universities, The Ministry of Education and in banks and in different positions in private sector.
